Oh Crap

the power went out in the middle of my exam. That was fun. The room it multitiered with no emergency lighting because that's safe. Luckily there were only two students left and I was on the ground level so i propped open the door and evacuated everyone out into the hall.

the power outage was from a massive surge. You could smell the fried circuits in the Hall. Wonders if the computer survived...because my grade book is kept there. Yeah it's backed up on the main servers but still... ugh.

Spent the night grading and still only got thru one class' exams. blech.
