today is the day of wet pants

It's also the first time I had to give up on a pre-paid ticket. I discovered Roger Williams park which reminded me of Central Park a green space with many turn of the 20th century things like boat houses, museums and zoos. It was a good time. UNTIL it started pouring.

I had an umbrella. Somehow I went to the bathroom and I must have hit my side on the umbrella because I was wet from hip to cuff (and it's not like I peed myself or fell into the toilet) so that was annoying AF.

But walking the zoo stressed my knee straight out. It was getting painful and weak and the rain isn't letting up so I call the boat company and say hey I'm handicapped and the injury has been aggravated and it would be dangerous for me to take this ride (especially since last night I went and barely got from the boat to the dock as it's like an 10 inch step up no hand rails) If I could barely do it when it's dry, a wet dock? Yeah I'll die. They don't refund but they WILL sell my ticket (and either they did it or they canceled it because I was refunded)

Came home filled the plastic ice bucket bag with ice and ice down my knee. It melts fast and then the bag opens up soaking my next set of shorts, the bed (guess I'll be sleeping on the other side) and the floor. Whee.

I caught some yummy seafood dinner, clams casino and bay scallops
