Oct. 24th, 2023 10:26 pmWe're getting some donated money again this year. I put in to replace the ancient physiology equipment. The stuff we have was here before me and I've been here 19 years. Yeah so let's do this. I put in for one more research level piece of equipment. I'm not sure how much we'll get but something is better than nothing.
I found a wee part of my missing FMA story. I am confused as to WHY it is lost. I did a search on a character with a relatively unique name and there it popped up FMA big bang 2015...but that seems to be the year that the big bang fell through. I have like the first 2 chapters plus the betas for it but no more. I need to go look in the emails because I would have sent it to ELD to beta) The WHY is still eluding me because my desktop is from 2011. It's ancient (hang in there Riza, hang in there my dear) I need to find my old flash drives. fmabigbang on LJ (it moved to DW after that) there is nothing for 2015. b) nothing on AO3 for that time period that works c) FFN is being a dick and only showing one page of stories, no matter how I filter. I know I wrote more than 11 pages (about 4K) I remember the scenes. Why it's NOT on the hard drive is anyone's guess but by 2015 I was writing more on laptops and flash drives. I need to look on the work computer too (because flash drives and the old lap tops are gone) Annoying. (it's also annoying my longest and potentially best FMA series is a hybrid of Brotherhood and 2003)
