Writers group and a fic

Okay guys my online writers group is looking for new members (and I'm hoping for genre writers personally) It's designed for original fiction only short stories, novels and poems (though most of us suck at critiquing poetry). What would be involved is once every 6 weeks (or thereabouts) you have to hand us some new fic (there is a limit of 5000 words I believe because lately a couple people were tossing off 100 pages at a time) AND critique all of the other fic too. What do I mean by that? Well flow of story, pacing, characterization and/or line edits for word choice, punctuation and spelling. On one hand there is a fair hunk of reading to be done but on the other, it's not really that bad. If you're interested, email me and I'll put you in touch with our leader.

And since I ended up joing another Fullmetal Alchemist community specific for the pairing of that story I just posted here a few days okay, I ended up reordering it so it's easier to read. if you're curious head here Why They Call It Falling

How many members usually participate each 6 weeks, and how quickly are you expected to reciprocate?

And you've experienced my beta'ing. Would I be too much? Too little? I'm a little worried about the time crunch but I need someone who knows a little about writing to look at my original work.

you'd be far more indepth than most of us are. Right now there would be seven of us for you read and critique

I can do less in depth (I think :p I can get pretty compulsive).

How soon do you need to know? We are supposed to be done with the current project at work, and I might get my Saturdays and evenings back for at least a while. I hesitate to commit, though, until I know that the company won't decide to extend the project.

How much time are you given before you have to give your critiques?
