mom called to tell me my aunt with the two mechanical heart valves was taking to the cardiac unit yesterday. She needs to have a pacemaker put in (she had gone to the cardiologist on monday and came back with a report that made NO sense. He told her she was in danger of stroking and having a heart attack because of the arrthymia then didn't wnat to see her again for a year. Now either she misunderstood, she didn't WANT to go or he's an idiot). But they can't operate because she has an elevated white blood cell count and want to find the infection first.

yeah and to be honest, this aunt doesn't ever seem to understand thi ngs correctly. Or like I said, i'm betting she was told she needed to come in for another electrocardioconversion which hurt so she said no.
