one week down 14 to go

All in all, it was a fairly smooth first week. Yes I gave homework (so there, mjules), I terrorized. hell half of my class with 50 people didn't even show up (today was the last day to drop) here's hoping a few are just gone.


16 days into 21 day meditation challenge. my sugar is improving. I did have two interesting images pop up. two days ago there was this longish (i.e. like 2 seconds) glimpse of two rust-hued bowls of rice and grape leaves on a table. I dunno, maybe I'm meant to make dolmades. THen yesterday had a glimpse of a person from the nose to the chest line. He had an insane Dexter-like smile. Yeah even in meditation I'm not quite right.

I had a few coworkers talk me into zoosk. We were HOWLING today after work viewing my daily matches FOUR of them put up pictures of them on their motorcycles. two more had on no shirts but not in a good way. More in the redneck I ain't wearing no shirt less it's a wife beater... sort of way.

L and I went and checked out the site for the terror town witch trial for the theatre group. It's a collection of colonial day homes. They want my help with this since a) I've been to Salem b) I have books on witchcraft to give it some respect at the end c) I help every year.My thought was am I getting a speaking part this time? Actually I might not want one. It would be fun to be a guide and taking them thru four buildings past the school house we can't use and along Raccoon Creek.

I opened a possible story for my creative writing thing. It was from back in the floppy disc days when I marked on the top when I last worked on something (not a bad idea). 1999. Wow. Bet this is gonna suck.

So I tried two more times to introduce him to Kanda. Kanda is having none of it. Anyone know how to use the software that comes with a vista (what IS the software that comes with a vista) to lighten up video? I have a few of Kanda shaming himself that I'd like to lighten up and share.

Ah yes, I just saw that. I guess I should keep up? I'm sure he'll find a good home. He's gorgeous but cats isn't cheap to take care of.

I'm sure he would. let's put it this way for me to take him to the vet for all his shots and neutering it's about 300$. if i go to a shelter that same care would cost me 50-70$ (up to 100$ for a female). I could get 3 Ginkos for the price of one. That's a tough reality and i told her as much (which is why she offered me the spayed female)

Ginko looks just like Willy did when we found him all those years ago, right down to the huge bat ears and white markings. Willy was a nice, laid-back, comfortable cat, but he was a terror as a kitten. We'd have taken Ginko in a heartbeat if he'd turned up on our doorstep, but I'm pretty sure Chablis would eat him.

I don't know how I missed this post earlier... but the first pic of ginko is PRECIOUS!! He's such a cute kitty and gonna be a handsome cat. Hope someone adopts him soon from the vet.
