Seriously. I'm bleeding pink out of one leg. I don't know why but it's not red. it's pink. The rest of the wounds look good (I was trying to get a blood sample..)

standing 5 straight hours running around lab did me no favors today. I stripped down to change into my work out clothes and saw my right ankle (varicose vein city) was so swollen you couldn't see the medial mallelous (the ankle bone for the anatomically disinclined). Holy shit! Grandma ankles!

I rode the bike for 30 minutes and 7 miles with NO change in that swelling. Bite me body.

Things I learned today: Dad and Mom are working on grandma's house as I've mentioned before and Dad is working on the electric (he's an electrical engineer) only to find out the whole bedroom's outlets (which are few) are routed into the basement and into an extension cord. Holy hell! How that didn't burn down....

The nurses at the assisted living thing my grandmother is an angel. If she's an angel, who the fuck else lives there? Bezeelebub, Asamoth and Lucifer?

That my cousin Tommy died. I didn't know this man. But his death was odd. He was found dead in a warehouse where he worked apparantly dying friday and being found monday. As I said I didn't know him. He's more my dad's age and when he was a younger man he was mixed up in drugs and killed a man. He spent most of his life in prison though was released sometime in the last decade.

I changed my surgery appt from this friday til the second because it conflicted with too much class. I am in pain but a couple more weeks won't matter. I've had this pain since the damn surgery but now i know exactly where it is (since all the other pain went away).

Your grandmother is probably putting the nurses under spells or voodoo or something.

And her house sounds like what some of the scary things were going on in the Lodge, you know. Before Chriiiiiiieeeessssss fixed them.

I still remember a cousin who worked in an assisted living home recounting how a patient stabbed her with a fork. I suppose if your grandma hasn't done that yet, they may think she's an angel. I imagine your granny is being very nice for a while, but sooner or later she'ls going to be her bad self again.

Yuck for having trouble getting blood.
