Can't believe we start tomorrow

I seriously can't. I was welded to this chair again today. If one more person tells me 'must be nice to have a do-nothing job' (based on the fact we only meet like 15 hours a week face to face with students) I might deck them.

I'm not into it at this point, waking up in the middle of the night thinking about Soul, knowing that probably within a week he'll be gone, thinking about the two doctors' appts tomorrow and tuesday and knowing there won't be good news (and thinking i might ask the one on tuesday to send me for x-ray. THe good news is the wounded toe is healing beautifully, the bad news is shoes kill, i might need a wooden one for a while).

I also learned that my cousin's husband in dying. (my parents' age). He had a massive heart attack years ago and less than 50% of his heart is function. THat part is now giving out. It's only a matter of time. He might have a few years left or he could be gone tomorrow.

In happier news, my school has some new and exciting things going on. At least it makes me want to be part of it.

I'm looking for clothes and new bras at Roaman's bogo sale. I need a pretty bra. Mom made a comment about one of my pictures wondering why i wasn't wearing one out and I'm like, I AM, and realizing the soft sided no underwire wasn't my best bet with that particular shirt. Now that I have resigned myself to being here, I might as well date if that's possible (so far no), would be nice to have something I look good in. Speaking of clothing, I found the perfect dress at a totally imperfect price. figures.

Mom always yells at me that I have too many cds (i have hundreds) and I couldn't listen to them. Well i haven't listened to my rock or country in forever (I listen more to classical and jazz) so I've been playing them yesterday and today and i can't even remember what song I bought them for. I think some of these were I liked the artist previously and bought it the day it came out and regretted it. I've found 2 empty cd cases. wtf?


I'm recording Copper. It looks dark but interesting. I hope i like it. Also WTF happened last night? Is Deadman Wonderland over already? It doesn't seem likely. Did Miss something? It couldnt' have been pulled for content not with the vulgar foul mouthed live action comedies they have.

my foot is killing me because i had it down all day. Sigh.

I have about the lsat 3 weeks yet to watch. I didn't get the warning. great, I haven't seen samurai 7 but it's recorded. Is it worse than casshern?

Let's just say that at least Casshern is original, not an animated rehash of the movie "Seven Samurai" with dated, Inuyasha-esque artwork. Then again, now that Casshern has ventured into the territory of robots with reproductive capability, it's definitely starting to strain credulity, not to mention sanity (and of course, Casshern is one of those robots thus, ahem, endowed).

and this Casshern bears no resemblance to the original Casshern. Samurai 7 is failry old, like 2003 but not old enough for it's 1990s art

yes I'm way behind on Casshern but I caught part of that last night and was thinking WTF. then again the world building in this sucks donkey so...

And I figured Casshern was endowed since that one woman with the scented candles went all rapey on him
