Can't believe we start tomorrow

I seriously can't. I was welded to this chair again today. If one more person tells me 'must be nice to have a do-nothing job' (based on the fact we only meet like 15 hours a week face to face with students) I might deck them.

I'm not into it at this point, waking up in the middle of the night thinking about Soul, knowing that probably within a week he'll be gone, thinking about the two doctors' appts tomorrow and tuesday and knowing there won't be good news (and thinking i might ask the one on tuesday to send me for x-ray. THe good news is the wounded toe is healing beautifully, the bad news is shoes kill, i might need a wooden one for a while).

I also learned that my cousin's husband in dying. (my parents' age). He had a massive heart attack years ago and less than 50% of his heart is function. THat part is now giving out. It's only a matter of time. He might have a few years left or he could be gone tomorrow.

In happier news, my school has some new and exciting things going on. At least it makes me want to be part of it.

I'm looking for clothes and new bras at Roaman's bogo sale. I need a pretty bra. Mom made a comment about one of my pictures wondering why i wasn't wearing one out and I'm like, I AM, and realizing the soft sided no underwire wasn't my best bet with that particular shirt. Now that I have resigned myself to being here, I might as well date if that's possible (so far no), would be nice to have something I look good in. Speaking of clothing, I found the perfect dress at a totally imperfect price. figures.

Mom always yells at me that I have too many cds (i have hundreds) and I couldn't listen to them. Well i haven't listened to my rock or country in forever (I listen more to classical and jazz) so I've been playing them yesterday and today and i can't even remember what song I bought them for. I think some of these were I liked the artist previously and bought it the day it came out and regretted it. I've found 2 empty cd cases. wtf?


I'm recording Copper. It looks dark but interesting. I hope i like it. Also WTF happened last night? Is Deadman Wonderland over already? It doesn't seem likely. Did Miss something? It couldnt' have been pulled for content not with the vulgar foul mouthed live action comedies they have.

my foot is killing me because i had it down all day. Sigh.

So getting rid of Soul is a done deal? That sucks, but you just can't live with a cat with his issues. He has way too many of them.

We had at least two weeks' warning that Toonami was running out of Deadman episodes. I don't know what "We're all out of new episodes" _means_ in programming language, mind you. I'm hoping it means "We'll start showing Deadman again when we get the rights to the next season," because there was absolutely no resolution, and you _know_ there's more episodes. And the sooner they get Deadman back, the better. I've only seen the first episode of its replacement, Samurai 7, and it already sucks.

I have about the lsat 3 weeks yet to watch. I didn't get the warning. great, I haven't seen samurai 7 but it's recorded. Is it worse than casshern?

Let's just say that at least Casshern is original, not an animated rehash of the movie "Seven Samurai" with dated, Inuyasha-esque artwork. Then again, now that Casshern has ventured into the territory of robots with reproductive capability, it's definitely starting to strain credulity, not to mention sanity (and of course, Casshern is one of those robots thus, ahem, endowed).

yes I'm way behind on Casshern but I caught part of that last night and was thinking WTF. then again the world building in this sucks donkey so...

And I figured Casshern was endowed since that one woman with the scented candles went all rapey on him

I'm behind on my flist entries- what's going on with poor Soul?

Deadman Wonderland is on hiatus as a manga due to the mangaka's pregnancy. Not sure if they just don't have. Anymore episodes made. Yet or if they're not dubbed or what. I'm sad about its end as well. Samurai 7, obviously a remake attempt of Kurosawa's legendary movie Seven Samurai, is nowhere near as good as the film it is inspired by. Had I not seen the movie I might've liked it better.

Your pic reminds me of when I was little and going to Barren River in the summer for fishing and swimming. There was a nice outhouse kinda like this at the bait shop.

every time it gets hot (last summer, this summer) he middens, covering everything in shit and piss. It's a territory issue that I can't resolve so he'sprobably going to have to go.

you can't even get it as a manga here since pirates put the company out of business. CN probably failed to get the rights to the second season. Yeah so far no one is liking samurai 7.

I'm still bewildered by the fact CN can't get more anime, even older stuff or whatever.

I have also had a really hard (read: impossible") time finding a pretty, light bra for my giant old woman boobs. I hate the bras they have in my size. Everything is underwire, heavy fabric, wide straps (often with a cushion). It's like the ugly shoes they lead me to when I want something comfortable. My question: Why is comfortable so ugly? This law even applies to furniture. What gives?

i have a lot of pretty comfortable bras BUT they aren't very shapely Roamans has tons of comfortable beautiful bras. However, I want one that doesn't make me look like I'm sagging to my knee caps (ie underwire)

?? Really? The whole working like a dog outside of class is one of the reasons I gave up on the idea of being an instructor. That, and I would probably wind up killing a student.
