I miss it

I know I say this every month but when I have my writers' online meeting, it really helps make some of the bad crap drop away for a little while. I wish it was every other week or that my local one was still meeting (we're talking about getting back together again).

Another thing that came out of it was I need to start taking better notes on my stories. I'm not an outliner but I tend to forget things between time it takes for me to get back to a story and how many I have going on. My brain is getting older too

Community rec for thursday intoabar will be starting up any day now. I'm not usually into crossovers but this one is always such fun.

And thank you for those who popped in with advice about taking iron better. It's stupid, I've been doing this forever since I've had anemia my whole life but no one ever told me the best ways to take iron and what stops absorption so seriously thanks to all of you with your suggestions.

me and the original founder are talking about at least us getting together (but she's facing the same health issues as me right now so it's up in the air because we'd both be driving about 40 miles to the mutual meeting space, ah the joys of living in the middle of nowhere)

I feel you on the joys of living in the boonies. I've often wished I lived someplace where there are more fandom peeps, for example.

I miss living where my parents do, out in the middle of nowhere SW PA but in 25 miles you're in Pittsburgh with all that entails
