Books

Because I'm too ill to do anything witty. My sugar went up 325 after breakfast (just eggs and bacon no carbs) by 4 pm it was down to 70 and I was shaking/sweating so I had to take sugar. After dinner my sugar was too high to register on my glucose monitor so it was over 500. I should have gone to the hospital. Now it's back under 400. There aren't words to describe how awful this feels. I'm so tired of this. Might be time to go to a research endocrinologist if I can find one. (and I'm worried about Mom her sugar is also that high thanks to meds and woke up to her dead brother holding out his hand to her. That is not the kind of dream that is going to make me sleep easy tonight)

So here's May's readings. How is it June tomorrow? Speaking of which here's the reminder that the write every day posting is going to start after midnight.

*hugs* I so wished I could think of something to help with the sugar. Sounds like the exact thing you need on top of everything your health has thrown your way lately. :( Best wishes to both you and your mother that things improve swiftly.

-a couple of reactions to your other recent posts-

I hope your plants will find an excellent spot. Sounds like a wonderful array and gardening is such a cool hobby!

(oh for Dreamwidth to have a scheduling post process)
Above your entry you get a list of options Post as: / Post to: / Date & Icon. If you click on the little "edit" link next to "date", it'll offer you an option to set the date you want your post to go up for?

With regards to your regular posts - you could consider putting them under access lock if you'd rather keep them away from the wed posts?

I know, but it's still giving you grief, so I'd still like to fix it if I could.

Aww, but maybe it's as nice as it can be if you can't garden ten hours each day?

I should point out that I only use the editing function to either date things some years into the past for archive purposes or into the future to keep a post sticky, so I'm not sure how it works on a day-to-day basis, but it might be worth a try? Maybe not with an important post for try-outs?

I need to remember that you're comfortable with the majority of your entries being public. Have fun!

Sorry to hear about your blood sugar dear. I think a research endo might be a good idea.

I hope you can find someone to help make sense of your ridiculously yo-yoing sugar numbers!
