Gram gives me money. First thing mom asks is 'do you want to go to Mountaineer?' Mountaineer is a casino in WV about 40 minutes from here. Now i need money bad. So I say yes because you can't give me a dollar that I won't gamble with.

Long story short, we had a good time. I won about 150$ on the nickel machines, lost it all again. I used to hate nickels but at Mountaineer they're the only thing that hits (no lie, the quarters and dollars are too tight, they won't even give you a cherry or three single bars to keep you playing) They're video slots which I used to hate too but they have cute games on them now so you gamble and play for 'big bucks' (I won 100$ off one game) Played just a little quarters/dollars just in case (pays to know the casino and know how they have the machines set)

I drained three separate nickel machines and had to wait for money to put in it. The first two times no biggie. THe last time (in the smoking section of course) I waited over a half hour. I was ticked.

I leave for WI tomorrow. I don't know when I'll get my online set up, could be a few days could be a week I don't even have a phone yet. Might pester my new landlord to use his system just to let everyone know I got there safe.

First time I gambled was last year in Vegas. I technically wasn't old enough, but that didn't stop me playing anyway. I won about $50 before I started thinking someone was going to catch me. It's addictive though.

Good luck in WI! Hope settling in isn't too much trouble.

It's very addictive (I have to be very careful actually I am addicted to gambling and drinking if nothing else but through genetics.)

Thanks. I'm staying at a friend's house and I used to live in WI so I think I'll be okay. It's the teaching for the very first time that's scary

thanks. Maybe once I move more inland I won't get so rained on but I'm not holding my breath. Charley is one nasty sucker and evenhere in PA we're getting the spin-off effects

I inventoried some of your stuff with mine, speaking of Charley, and sent a list to myself on email. Currently, it's starting to feel nice. There's a wind blowing (not a harsh one). And they let us go early from work (do you believe it?).

It's the end of the world as we know it. Here it's about 56 degrees and raining. I'm getting cold. Might want to put on long pants.

That's a good thing the inventory. Oh and the misc. ties stuff that's all the blackest of blue/next novel stuff. I'm not sure which is which and if it's in hte big novel yet but good call sending it over. I think those ARE the only copies I don't think it's on my hard drive

They just announced the first tornado watch for Volusia. I keep hearing rumbling outside; took the dogs out a few minutes ago and cleared out a space in the pantry under the stairs for us. All the computer discs are there, by the way. ALL of them. *grin* We'll never be able to sort 'em out, now.
