Dolls

And why I loathe them so much. Okay I don't know why. I'm pretty sure I was born hating the things. I don't know why anyone would want one. About the only dolls I have ever wanted were the Living Dead dolls.

So a few weeks back mom and my brother were up in the storage area of Gram's looking for something of his and found this box of dolls...all naked, decapitated and limbless. The mystery here is WHY mom ever kept the things. Quite obviously I hated them. WHY were there so damn many of them? How many did i have to dismember to get my point across? Why did no one think I needed therapy...

However there was a treasure trove of 60's and 70's Barbie clothes. Some are in good shape. Others are wrecked. I might try selling that crap on Ebay. Tons of go go boots and clogs (yay the 70's). I was apparently always a fan of anything that glittered.

You should definitely sell the Barbie clothes - they will go really well on Ebay especially if they are vintage. I've sold loads of them. (I used to collect Barbie dolls and clothes) my advice is to pick out any special ones for separate listing and then lump all the others together in a job lot. The more the merrier. Just lay them all out nicely and describe them properly. People don't mind them not being in perfect condition as long as they are in reasonable condition and you tell them they've got wear and tear. (Not sleeves torn off…!)

Good luck!

well that's good to know. (Ebay had no bids on anything when i looked) I'll take your advice. I need to iron them and mend a few but yes all will be notated as played with, stained etc since they are. the shoes are in great condition. I never used them
