that kitten

Well the antibiotics are working. He's getting better. A coworker might take him. Then tonight my SiL called. She REALLY wants a long haired orange cat. She and my brother might make him cat #6.

Then again, he's beginning to get along with Roy and he is the most affection creature I've ever seen in my life. He might just stay with me.

guess them cowboys never heard of diet food

Lol at Tuscon being fit. Of course, you have to be able to run on a dime from all the drug/coyote wars that happen there.

Lol at Phoenix too. Why be fit when you can drive away from danger?

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 04:40 am (UTC)(link)
snort.

glad to see Tucson is still as bad as I remember it. I was stationed at Davis Monthan for a month back in 92

I'm surprised about NY being one of the fatter cities. Usually cities where most people walk and rely on public transportation are more fit.

I'm thinking you should keep Kyo and post many more pictures of him. Because pictures of orange kittens are never bad.

[identity profile] evil-little-dog.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I second this. *grins* But I love orange kitties anyway.

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
orange is my least favorite color

[identity profile] evil-little-dog.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Awwwww.

[identity profile] chaos-by-design.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 04:10 pm (UTC)(link)
I like them too. But then I love all kitties.

[identity profile] evil-little-dog.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 08:28 pm (UTC)(link)
I feel that way about dogs.

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 04:03 pm (UTC)(link)
i have a few more pictures of him to post, right now he's not photogenic, all runny eyed and snot nosed

with me, my coworker or my insane brother, Kyo is gonna get a good home

I think the sheer amount of not so healthy eateries overpowers the whole walking thing. because iknow vegas and chicago have good public transit too (columbus does not. Buses are it)

Yeah, eating out will definitely kill any attempts to not put on weight.

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 04:31 pm (UTC)(link)
and that's what many of us do. We grab a Mcdeath for breakfast , hit Wendy's for lunch and then takhomasac for dinner. (or go home and microwave something from the freezer which is just as bad)

luckily I don't really like fast food (notice me not losing weight though)

[identity profile] evil-little-dog.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, Tampa, somehow I'm not surprised.

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
i'm surprised at miami being so fat

[identity profile] evil-little-dog.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 04:06 pm (UTC)(link)
Lotsa old people. *laugh*

[identity profile] wildrider.livejournal.com 2009-01-25 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Obviously, I needed to stay in Tucson.

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-26 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
hahaha what a difference a few miles make (How far is that? it's been too long since i've made that drive. 80?)

[identity profile] wildrider.livejournal.com 2009-01-26 03:58 am (UTC)(link)
120, actually, although these days it seems like a lot less, since both cities have spread so far it may be down to 80 (or less).

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-26 04:23 am (UTC)(link)
no wonder i used to get so bored on that drive

[identity profile] wildrider.livejournal.com 2009-01-27 12:06 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that, and it's just about the only non-scenic stretch in all of the State of Arizona -- flat and featureless and BORING; except for Picacho Peak, there's just NOTHING there.

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-27 02:54 am (UTC)(link)
oh good glad it's not me. I mean I wasn't thrilled with AZ in general but I did think the desert around Tucson was pretty.

God knows I took enough pictures of it

[identity profile] wildrider.livejournal.com 2009-01-27 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
Most of Arizona is quite the most beautiful land in the world -- but not that stretch between Phoenix and Tucson (unless you take the back way, through Oro Valley and Florence, but that takes longer--but it's WAY prettier).

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-27 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
i'm not much into the desert, different idea of beauty I guess (give me green green forests)

but yeah that stretch was a killer. I nearly fell asleep more than once

btw prnted out ch 6& 7 of your story today

[identity profile] wildrider.livejournal.com 2009-01-27 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
Arizona has some of the largest expanses of pine forests in the country, dude. And deciduous forests. And tundra. We have every type of land except seacoast, actually. It ain't all desert.

Keen!

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-27 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
I never made it north enough to see the forest. I only got to see unending desert from Tuscon all the way to San Diego (made that drive)

[identity profile] wildrider.livejournal.com 2009-01-27 01:41 pm (UTC)(link)
You know, if there were a way to get to Yuma through the southern part of the state, that drive wouldn't be so bad, either, but you have to drive north on 10 to 8 to get over there, so again, that central part of the state, through Reservation land. The southern reservation, the Tohono'Odam (it was called Papago, then), that's much prettier land, but it's also closer to Mexico.

[identity profile] cornerofmadness.livejournal.com 2009-01-27 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
AH. basically we were doing the fastest, shortest route possible

[identity profile] sillymagpie.livejournal.com 2009-01-26 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
At least Phoenix is #22 on the list of fattest cities. We're further from the top than I thought--but it's not fair to lump Phoenix in with Mesa, where people the size of planets roam freely...

;-P
