that kitten

Well the antibiotics are working. He's getting better. A coworker might take him. Then tonight my SiL called. She REALLY wants a long haired orange cat. She and my brother might make him cat #6.

Then again, he's beginning to get along with Roy and he is the most affection creature I've ever seen in my life. He might just stay with me.

Most of Arizona is quite the most beautiful land in the world -- but not that stretch between Phoenix and Tucson (unless you take the back way, through Oro Valley and Florence, but that takes longer--but it's WAY prettier).

i'm not much into the desert, different idea of beauty I guess (give me green green forests)

Arizona has some of the largest expanses of pine forests in the country, dude. And deciduous forests. And tundra. We have every type of land except seacoast, actually. It ain't all desert.

Keen!

I never made it north enough to see the forest. I only got to see unending desert from Tuscon all the way to San Diego (made that drive)

You know, if there were a way to get to Yuma through the southern part of the state, that drive wouldn't be so bad, either, but you have to drive north on 10 to 8 to get over there, so again, that central part of the state, through Reservation land. The southern reservation, the Tohono'Odam (it was called Papago, then), that's much prettier land, but it's also closer to Mexico.

AH. basically we were doing the fastest, shortest route possible
