Sat down and watched my netflix. Took it out to the mailbox only to find all THREE boxes from my book clubs came today but the mail person was too lazy to bring them to the house like they're supposed to do. No she wedged them all into the box (did likewise iwth my neighbor's box) and rubber banded the thing shut because they wouldn't fit. I busted my hands all up trying to get that out. But at least i have 6 new books (as if I needed them)

I am SUPPOSED to get another Ed/Winry today. In fact FIVE people took this prompt, two artists and three fiction writers. So far nothing but the day is only half gone. We shall see. and actually that is the extent of what got taken, four prompts only.

I also forgot to mention my bad dream (so yeah this day has sucked all the way thru). I dreamt mom and I were on a cruise. She fell down two flights of stairs and was lying there screaming and I was sure she had broken her back. I tried to get help but they wouldn't help until I filled out the proper forms. To do so I had to carve the letters of her name out of obsidian....okay then

I put in 12 prompts for springkink. 7 were claimed (2 of them twice) for a total of 8 fics and 1 art. So far I have been lucky and am only missing 3 of those (and 1 is the art from jojo_kun, whom I told not to rush because I wanted her best efforts). I'm hopeful that I'll be getting a few more pieces before the month is up.

I hope when I join in during the next round that I don't take more prompts than I can handle. There were a LOT that were calling to me this time. Speaking of which, when do they usually do the next round? March? April?

one of the pieces of art is also from jojo_kun and i wouldn't mind waiting. I usually get shafted so the fact that I have 3 1/2 out of ten promises I'm pleased.

um looking back i posted in June so I'm thinking prompts go in in April and claimed in May

I saw that jojo_kun had found an author for your prompt that she had claimed. I think she bit off more than she could chew this round...she sure was stressing! I'll gladly wait for the Ed/Ling though. They are a very guilty pairing of mine, and I've yet to see her draw Ling (I have a feeling in her style he will be quite yummy).

You know you'll get something fun in the gift exchange. I can't wait for the prompts to go up. :D

yeah joj0_kun has a habit of that, she admits it. I may never see mine but i know how that goes. i thnk i DO have one of her ed/ling's (goes to look. i do save fan art in a file marked that so i'm sure i don't do anything with it)

I'm actually quite burned our at the fic contest too, funny enough. I'm going to take a break after the vote for POke is over. The holidays are busy anyway.

Of my eight requests, COM took three, so I knew I'd get something, one other has been posted, and I've got one more prompt that two people said they were writing for due on the 28th.

Last year, Springkink offered some fun stuff around Valentine's day. And there was the Olympic Kinkathon, which was pretty cool.

hehe, COM took 3 of mine too (ambitious lady!). 2 of the missed ones that have passed I don;t think I'll see, and one of those authors has another of mine on the 25th? that I'm not expecting to see. I'm still pretty excited to get free fic, though!

I guess once this round's over I'll have to add springkink to my watch list so I can know when the next rounds are (didn't want to bog down my f-list with all the fic posts right now).

I've just been checking by fandom tags without the friend watch. I'm pooling to get a bunch of the Inuyasha group involved for the next round...there isn't even a TAG for that series!

Um, if it helps, I had this rather weird dream about God and Don Cheadle. God was talking to Don about feeling impotent (imagine that) because He wants to protect us from ourselves but cannot get involved because that would take away the choice He gave us.

God was not happy. It was an extremely strange dream.
