ennui

I had plenty today. Maybe because I couldn't sleep or because my sugar is bouncing all over (right now it's down, I'm shaking and sweating but I took a few sugar pills and am now going to have some protein to even it out).

Got the living room as good as it's going to get.

Found more books to take to half price book store.

Took the clothes to Goodwill finally and got my contacts (nearly forgot to order them before I leave)

Landlord FINALLY showed up. The toilet hasn't leaked in the week since I first told him. He thinks it's the septic tank backing up so he called the pump truck. gross.

Check out what's new with me here Turns out I had the blog hop's name wrong. It does sound like something I'd like to do though. Can't hurt to get my name out there a little. Also on that link is a pretty decent review for If Two of Them Are Dead

LeVar Burton is hosting a kick starter for Reading Rainbow here

I was very sad to see Maya Angelou died (that's how my day started).

And here's the stuff I got at the Asian and Welsh festivals.

The dragon is cute. It's hard to see the earrings have the awen symbol on them. The cup and tea pot look like I bought them together. I did not. One is from either fest.

Wednesday Reading meme

What I just finished - Motel. Pool by Kim Fielding, an author at my publishing house. I really enjoy her work. Jack is a gay wanna-be actor in the 1950s who makes a lot of rash choices and ends up dead at the bottom of the pool of a Route 66 motel. 60 years later Tag, a rather broken man, meets his ghost.

What I'm reading now - The Witch's Revenge, something I won off Goodreads that just got here today.

What I plan to read - The Iron-Jawed Boy also won off Goodreads.

declutter day 234 item tossed- A ceramic mask why kept-My aunt bought it for me why tossed -She gets me tons of stuff from junk shops and yard sales and I don’t like this type of mask

Your goodies are REALLY cool! I love that dragon.

I think you're passing stuff off to me. I'm exhausted and ready to go to bed right now, despite the movies I got to watch.

Your link to the blogpost goes back to your writing journal, not to anyone else's.

Cute dragon.

According to that site, the Reading Rainbow Kickstarter has already reached the $1 million goal. How cool is that?

The dragon is cute. I love the teapot.

That IS cool that they made it already.

The dragon was cheap as dirt. I should have bought some for friends. They had big flying ones for only 25$ and I would have bought that if I had a place to fly it.

The teapot is nice. The mug is made locally. It's dangerous that I know that.

Oh ah!

I love all the items...I collect Asian stuff, I have a Japanese tea kettle, some buddahs and other weird stuff. Had I have gone I probably would have spent money I didn't have on crap;) I also LOVE the food!

I obviously share those weaknesses!
