Connor sat back against the bathroom wall, his hand flailing wildly for the toilet’s handle. His mouth tasted of acid and stout. He glared up at Angel. “Don’t get why you’sh pissed off,” he slurred.

“I dropped by to see you and you’re busy getting sick and you don’t know why I’m a little angry?” Angel grumbled. “You’re drunk off your ass.”

Connor grinned widely. “Was at a Flogging Molly concert then we went out for St Patrick’s day. What’s the problem? You always wanted me to be more like you.”

“I didn’t mean be a drunk Irishman!” Angel protested.
