I woke to the sound of rain. Shit. it was supposed to get cold again tonight. Is this rain rain or ice rain? (rain rain as it turns out, BUCKETS of it). There is only a snatch of snow left that used to be Dumpy the Snowman.

I'm getting ready to go to the grocery so I'm in the bathroom putting in contacts etc when I see something out of the corner of my eye. It's the mouse running into the computer room

Me ....that IS a big mouse

Mouse (peering out from behind the door) OMG A GIANT MONSTER! DUCK!

Me- you know you're cute and I'm kinda sad I'm slowly poisoning you. Wonders if I can just kill you now

Mouse (peering again) IT'S STILL THERE! HIDE

Me - i could use that samurai sword on a stick Silvrethorn gave me but then there would be blood everywhere

Mouse -(popping back out again) WHY WONT IT MOVE

Me- Ihave thick gloves, maybe I could throw something over it.

Sadly the mouse disappeared. And ate another tray of poison overnight. My god how slow acting IS this poison (the box as it turns out says to use for 2 weeks. lovely. Ah longing for the days of fast acting arsenic...wonders if we have any in the chem lab)

Kroger's i know you're flip flopping the store but some of the things you are doing make no sense. why are dog food, dog treats and cat food ALL in different aisles. If i had a dog I'd be annoyed i needed to hit two aisles to get what i wanted

please let me get my writers group done today. the sugar bounce stopped me cold last night.

and i put too much cream in my coffee (I'm trying to use it up. I generally only have sugar)
