it was fun coming home tonight. I saw my books on the stoop. OOO new books in the mail. Skankarella was following me with Chicken the Kitten. As I reach for the books, something explodes out of the wooden cat house on my poor. I see a blur of brownish gray.

RACOON! Finds skin after body leaps out of it. Oh Wait...not coon. tabby cat. New stray. SIGH. This is #2 and we're not out of January yet. He (I think it's a he based on large head size) is a lovely gray tabby, too thin and skittish. BUT he tolerates skanky while eating and while he doesn't want me near him he WILL let me touch him when he's eating so there's hope for him. I think he's been abused but might come to trust me if he stays. Chicken the kitten is going in reverse to full feralness sadly.

I'm not well. I think i need to call Doc and see if he drew a blood count. I haven't felt this weak and tired since the last time i was severely anemic (it's an issue with me but i AM taking my iron like a good girl and I'm not having the heavy periods like I was the last time)

got outed by a student today (hopefully she'll be discreet) as a pagan type. She had a book of shadows on her flash and I saw it when I was loading lessons onto it for her. She started to explain then noticed one of my more discreet pieces of jewelry. Most people just think it's a wagon wheel but of course a pagan would recognize it as the wheel of the year...I don't really care. Maybe it'll scare off that fundie college...OMG EVOLUTION! TAUGHT BY A WOMAN!!! WHO'S NOT CHRISTIAN!!!!!!!
