I'm not sure. If we get the weather they're promising, I could be hopelessly screwed.

They're predicting a foot of snow. I could deal with that. LIke I said a week or so ago, that usually doesn't knock out my power or for long. We might get rain/ice. I fear that.

I have a lot of food here. I should have gotten more. I pre-cooked a few meals that would taste good cold. I'm sort of set. But everything here is electric including my heat pump. That's the part that sucks. It got dangerously cold last time.


WHY won't my big bang finish? WHY? I'm nearly at 30K. WHIMPERS. Damn you Roy and Maes

I'm hoping the snow doesn't get as bad as predicted. Like you, I'm all electric, and if my power goes out, I'm screwed, too. Plus, the only place I could go is my brother's house, and he lives on a hill where, yeah, I probably couldn't get to anyway.

Yikes... Well, I hope you don't lose power. That would beyond suck. Our house is all electric too and, back during the big ice storm of 96? 97?, we lost power for over 3 days. Bout froze to death. No hot baths. No hot food. And we couldn't get on the roads for over a day.
