SNOW DAY

but I had to declare it myself at first. Last night one of my students posted an iPhone pic of I-35 and it was a mess. THis morning it had snowed way more. I have to go over a bridge up a hill and make a 70 turn onto a major highway all without going a) into Rocky creek b) over the hill or c) slid into oncoming traffic. My school wasn't closed. I said no way.

So I put up announcements on BlackBoard that I canceled class and the online quiz today was STILL a go. Being on dial up this took a while. twenty to eight they closed the school. Great. Students are already out the door by then. Oh well.

I went back to bed only to have the doctor call me and cancel out. Apparently Jackson is super hard hit. So i snuggled back into my cave of covers and dozed on blissfully.

My sugar on the other hand is out to kill me it's jumping back and forth 200 points or more even in my sleep. Whimpers. My foot hurts because this is killing nerves in it.
