Had an award dinner tonight for a friend. It's a student nominated award so it was pretty touching. I enjoyed the dinner and the company (okay I sat with my science/math coworkers but really they're the best part of my job). I got to dress up. I admit it, I don't want to dress up every day but I do have beautiful dress up clothes and I love totting up every so often.

I'm glad I felt better for it too since a killer migraine hit around noon and my stomach felt like I swallowed acid letting me know I've hit the limit of NSAIDS I can take for my back.

Also it was too fucking hot. It was one degree shy of ninety today. Ugh. It was 72 yesterday, now that's perfect.

Kanda is playing hide and seek with the futon pillows but I'm worried about Ling. Someone had a freaking uncontrolled boxer that tore off after both him AND me (and there were babies all around today). I don't know who that dog belongs to but it's not that friendly and I hope the hell Ling got away from him since they outdistanced me (I just got back from the dinner and I had on dress shoes, not something i could run overland in). I didn't hear anything so I'm sure he did but still. I want to know if it's the new douche with his harley on his porch who has this dog. Landlord does NOT allow dogs to be loose

I've hated loose dogs like that ever since that one killed our stray Stranger, who lived on our porch. (It's actually given me a little dog complex.) I hope Ling's okay. *fret*
