Appropriate I suppose since Lena Horne died today. I loved her voice.

Another day, another day of feeling like I can't write. But that's okay I'll cheer myself up with this. For those who don't follow my writing journal, a book review for A Brush of Wings which as a whole did well and my story got 5 out of 5 so I couldn't be more pleased. Being a historical fantasy I was afraid it would get skipped by most readers.

I got my grades in. I made a decision on what to do with those field tripping middle schoolers who'll be here on wed. (Yes I'm coming back special for that and for my welsh class) It should be a lot of fun

tomorrow is the 5 hour mandatory meeting. I hate it. No one pays attention when things go on THAT long. It's always such a downer. Makes you doubt you'll even had a job to come back to.

It's over. I should feel happy. I don't.

End of school season blues....you've been ON for so long that your body and mind don't know what to do with themselves, now that the OFF switch is trying to be toggled.

I too was sad to see that Lena Horne had died...I always felt she was a woman a gal could look up to, a goal to strive towards. Gerry always said she was a LADY and should be admired. I know she didn't take guff from anyone and had a lot of moxy. The Summerlands are receiving a grand lady, and you can bet there's singing and dancing going on!

How MUCH of your job really truly depends on some of the stuff you're doing? Are those kids coming in on a field trip mandatory to you keeping said job, or is it just something extra you feel would look good in your employee files?

I just saw your comment, on another entry, that the meeting was like 7 hours long. WTF????? Are they nuts!? What could possibly be SO important that it took 7 frickin hours to hash out, especially without food.
