has hot water
Jun. 11th, 2010 10:46 pmokay so the landlord's wife was right. There IS a reset button b ut you have to remove the face of the hot water tank (he didn't even bring TOOLS. Luckily i have them). pull out this wad of insulation then hit one of the two buttons. Thankfully I didn't try on my own. I would have looked at the white and red buttons and figured red meant don't touch not please push me. He seals it up with a caution to be careful if I try it on my own or I'll get shocked if I push the wrong thing....WTF? Was the hot water tank made by the marquis de sade?
He also told me there have been coyotes in the back 40. I'm now very worried Ling will never be seen again just like Kyo. I'm sad. Very sad. Seriously if he doesn't come back, I am never adopted an outdoor cat again. I'll just take them to the shelter and get myself a cat who doesn't want to see the great outdoors. Still, I made a boarding appt for Ling just in case. I'm not giving up hope in two days. They've all left me for longer than that.
There's this free floating depression wrapping me up. Could be hormonal (well hello there Aunt Flo, nice to see you early...at least you waited until the trip was over), or the whole IBS flare up (because cramps and many trips to the john are fun. Again thanks until waiting until I'm home), or because I know just how much cash I spent in the last two weeks. yikes
Speaking of cash and spending it here's a letter I just sent to One Spirit book club (which I DO like mind you)
Tonight I received a phone call saying due to my good patronage I had been selected to get three free books with the purchase of three other books. It was a nice offer but for a few things.
A) it came at 5 minutes to 9 at night
B) The customer service member picked the books for me (two of which I have and one I don’t want) for a total of nearly 60 dollars then pressured me when I didn’t say yes right away
C) Did offer to make it just two books but at this point I was irritated.
Is there a way to see and use this offer via email where I can read the fine print and chose my own books? Thank you for your time and assistance.
Because seriously I WOULD buy one get one free but to call me this late at night, to call me PERIOD instead of their usual email annoyed me
