Bad Wishes

Be careful what you wish for. Growing up in Sunnydale, Cordy understood that platitude well. She made a whole new world once by wishing. Still, she couldn’t help herself. Wishing made life fun and worthwhile. She just wanted her friends to have fun and not stand on the wall like geeks. Angel and Wesley were too cute for that. They said they couldn’t dance. She should have believed them. They had moves that should never have been seen in public. Wesley looked like he was having a seizure. There weren’t words for what Angel was doing. Cordy could just weep.
