frustrated

I'm STILL having issues writing.I'm not sure why. I think I might start some writing challenges to get me moving. Need to do SOMETHING to get moving. I'm less than 20% where I want to be for the year. This time last year I was upping my word count by this time.

Went to Costco's and bought myself an early birthday gift, a whistper quiet fan. I want it for the bedroom. the pretty fan I bought last year is noisy. I'll put it in the computer room. Yes I DO have a/c but to get it decently cool takes way more electricity than I want to use at night so fans (which draw less) help when I bump the a/c up.


ETA - well at least I finished my Hohenheim/Pinako for fma_fuh_q. now to get it betaed

I like using the fans to spread the a/c around. It's quieter too (window a/c's can get really obnoxious when you crank them).

thank you. i have an electric heat pump/central a/c but it's a big energy suck so yeah ceiling fans, fan fans and the a/c set aroun 78 keeps the bill managable

I think it's too hot to write. I haven't been doing it, either. I'm counting on NaNo to kick my butt into gear this year so I can finish the rough draft of Ever Summer (I keep telling myself my Ever Summer world isn't any crappier than Tamora Pierce's Elizabethan hash-up world of Tortall, but somehow that's more depressing than inspiring).

i've been having trouble since jan. but i was so sick then got so far behind and now i'm home with the parents. none of which is conducive.

other issues: email/facebook addiction

yeah I didn't like that series but yes seeing all the utter crap out there tends to take the wind out of my sails.

but where you're at, too hot is right. I just looked it's 95 back in OH. yikes
