Started with this morning around 4 Am. woke up felt so weird I had to take my blood sugar to be sure it wasn't doing something dangerous (it wasn't) and i've felt exhausted all day.

Mom and I went shopping. Got a couple pairs of shorts and some fancy jeans in Macy's please take it away 50-70% off rack. got the cutest pair of sandles too. I'll take a pic later.

got some manga I've never heard of and ditto an anime (soultaker) at Halfprice bookstore. even wal-mart had some good movies in their 5$ bin, got the corpse bride and the meaning of life with Monty Python. (what can I say,I'm a sucker for Monty Python)

We were going to go to the palace of gold in the Wheeling WV area tomorrow but it's supposed to storm. Might go friday now.

Got home to find out that the only thing that went thru last time i paid bills was my loan. blinks...either i hallucinated paying them all or something went hideously wrong but my records of payment are back home. there's like 100$ in late fees. sigh.

Hopefully something went wrong and they can reverse the fees. If not, maybe it might help to get a little calendar for the drawer you keep your checkbook in and mark all the dates everything is due to come in each month (so your rent is on the 15th, Verizon on the 17th, etc.). That way every time you look at the checkbook you have a visual to make sure you haven;t missed a bill coming in with time enough to call in and catch it. STFU, Enemy.

Every bin of cheap movies I'm seeing these days has good stuff in it. I think it's because of Blu-ray coming in, ordinary DVDs have come WAY down in price.

Man, that sucks about the bills.

and so far Blu-ray has nothing but issues. how many times have I seen recallsbecause the movies won't play right. I'm trying to ignore blu-ray for as long as possible.

I actually hadn't heard about the problems, I just don't have a player yet, so I'm just enjoying the cheap DVDs.

a lot of times the dvd's glitch and don't play. Avatar was one of teh biggest stinks i've seen about it

Heh, haven't watched Avatar. But I've had that same problem with ordinary DVDs, every once in a while. :-)

i haven't. the only time I've had issues is if I've bought mail order and something got damaged or i got ripped again on ebay (hence me no longer buying dvd's there ever)

Mostly it's been on rentals, where the disc simply stops, then jumps ahead a whole bunch of scenes; you can rewind through to just AFTER the glitch, but if you hit it again, the same thing happens. I have one series disc that does that, but several rented movies have done it.

what DO people do to rentals? I've seen the ones from the library and netflix and you have to wonder if they were perhaps scrubbing pots with them or something.

I've wondered that, myself. Sometimes it looks like they let their children play frisbee with the dog... I tend to handle 'em like they're my own (of course, I've seen what some people do with their OWN discs, so what do I know?).

I tend to handle cds/books/dvds from the library as if they were mine. I swear some of the books look like they've been used as napkins
