There's a difference in giving a talk vs giving a lecture

I wouldn't have thought that but there was. I felt a lot less on track with the talk on writing and publishing I did today. It seemed to go well. They were actually listening to me. I guess that I'm not used to that. Half the time my students are looking at everything BUT me.

Actually two profs had their students there and I did get questions from students and profs alike. Some seemed really into it. Others not so much so but that makes me wonder why are you IN a creative writing class if you don't want to talk about writing.

I did read a little of my psychopomp story, Do Nothing from Nothing but Red, It was a lot of fun to do this.

I also treated myself to mexican and went to Wally. THey're tearing it to hell and back but i finally found the tackleboxs. they were too dirty to touch but i did notice that the same plastic containers (literally) were also on sale in the craft section for three times the price over the fishing ones.
