a very long christmas

definitely not a good holiday with my brother in the hospital and the stress on the rest of us. I'm back at grandma's but the solitude isn't a refuge in this place. This is such an uneasy feeling house.

If the times were shitty, at least the gifts were good. Mostly I got music, movies, manga, books and tea. Naturally clothing was an important part of all of this too.

Did get time to go back and forth between Chiller's Buffy marathon and Spike's Star Wars marathon but explain to me WHY Spike thinks tojan vibrator commericials (that seems to insinuate all the bridal shower attendees tried out the vibe BEFORE giving it as a gift) was a good thing in a show that's considered family fare in the middle of the day right along with the trojan condom commericials...

The Dr Who Christmas show was good but sad and I didn't need sad.

Really glad to hear on your other post that your brother came through his surgery fine. So sorry you and the family have had such a rough Christmas. I loved the Doctor Who Christmas special for being a bit more sombre, but I can very much see how you kind of were not in the mood for that. Of course Buffy is never depressing either.

Meanwhile: I thought EXACTLY the same thing when I saw the vibe commercial while my son and I were watching a bit of SWII. Fortunately, my son didn't have the slightest clue. He goes, "Oh, so it's a hairdryer?" I'm like, yeah, exactly. LOL

While the commercial was ill-placed, I don't want to tell newlyweds no toys are allowed. The commercial did seem to imply the husband would be inadequate, but I love incorporating vibes into my sex with hubby funtiemz. And yes, I know, TMI.
