Tonight was the annual frat boys cook the faculty dinner at the winery bash. Naturally I get there early (since i thought it was a half hour earlier than it was) and guess who's there. The coworker who's been giving me trouble acting like my best friend. I got thru the whole bottle of wine before dinner. By myself. Strawberry zinfindal (yes I know that's sissy wine). It was good. I brought home a different bottle of wine.

The math/science club made over 100 bucks with the bake sale today.

Then I found out I didn't get the Welsh fellowship. My good friend did. That's okay. I'm not upset. I need to have surgery. It was foolish of me to try.

As you know I went for the yearly gynie on friday and mammo on monday. Today I get a call from the ob/gyn's office and that made me nervous. Guess what. The lab mishandled my pap smear. (this is not the first time this lab has done or just plain lost specimens). I have to go back next week. It's free with our deep apologies. Well my deductible was met so it was free last time too. GAH.

In the middle of that I found out I have an endocrinologist appt on monday I forgot to put on the damn calender which means i have to race down for a blood draw before work tomorrow.

While I barely knew the character of Sarah Jane Smith, I know a lot of my flist loved the character and the actress and I thought you might be interested in this

Day Twenty: Favorite female antagonist

Lilah Morgan is a great villianess since she's not just evil. Well, she is but she was more complicated than that. Sometimes I think she was less evil than a bit greedy and ambitious and wonder if, not unlike Lindsay, got in over her head for the right reasons, like trying to care for a mother with alzheimer's. She was yet another of my smart and snarky choices. Lilah/Wes was hands down my favorite canon ship on Angel.

I even have a story rec. Okay it's my own. I was extraordinarily proud of this one when I wrote it 6 years ago now (yikes!). I haven't reread it but I might regret this but here goes Myself Am Hell
