I eat babies on a daily basis
May. 11th, 2011 10:11 pmJust ask Kanda. I pulled out the summer stuff and put the winter stuff away. I had the summer sheets on the floor and he nested in them. When I tried to move him off so I could put them up in the closet he shot me a look that definitely says I eat babies and am otherwise an evil human being.
But since I'm only MINORLY evil, let me thank everyone who weighed in on my writing question. I think that she gets to live (maybe comatose for a while), it gives Killian the final piece of the puzzle and allows Mairin a chance to plant a psych hook that makes the end plausible.
101 reasons I don't like heat. I can't breathe, I sweat, the cats get pissed, I can't breathe, I'm nauseous, I can't breathe. Yeah it's only going to get worse from here and the weird rashes I get when it gets hot are already here.
But I'm gonna fix their wagons. Next week is busy time for me. I got a dermatologist appt next thursday. Also i got an orthopedic surgeon apt in Columbus on friday AND got another one in the Pittsburgh area in June if that's what I need to do.
I heard this song on Castle and loved it. It could make a nice song for any number of fantracks (Roy (Gracia) for Maes, Buffy & Dawn for their mom, any scooby for Buffy, you get the picture.

I found an old meditation in my files that I must have forgotten about. It deals with an Agni meditation to open the manipura chakra and I think that I might need to spend some time with this one. The manipura chakra is in the solar plexus and governs the endocrine system. Blockages can cause endocrine issues like diabetes and stomach ulcers and nausea/vomiting.Hmmm, let's see,I have diabetes (endocrine), PCOS (endocrine), GERD/Paresis (stomach), adrenal tumor (endocrine). Meditating on the area made it hurt.
Yeah, I get the feeling my city of jewels has been leveled and is now a ghost town. This is going to need a little work

This happened last week when a second tree fell on the house.

and this is what happened after last night's storms (this is all right outside my bedroom window just across the street). Yeah the tree was pulled into that position since it had been across the road (and apparently not that far from MY bedroom)

Date: 2011-05-12 02:16 am (UTC)Summer sucks, in general - and it's not even really here yet. I might cry. We got into the 90s for the first time this year today down here.
(Also, re: liquid cremation - I totally forgot we'd talked about that! It was during my exams, if I believe, so I beg forgiveness over the scatterbrained moment. But yeah, I'm getting a packet together for you, though some of the stuff requires scanning. I'll be certain to email it to you as soon as I get it all uploaded!)

Date: 2011-05-12 03:43 am (UTC)You took away Kanda's very own sheets? How dare you! ;-)
Dickens has eaten his dinner and is snoring, the little dork.
Yikes to the tree.
Have you ever read Shirley Jackson's We Have Always Lived in the Castle? If they ever filmed it, that house and your neighborhood would be a great set.
