The Very Bad day of the Soul
May. 16th, 2011 09:47 pmor more appropriately Soul's VERY bad day. Technically it started last night. He hid his jingle ball and I couldn't put it away. At 1 Am while I was still reading he started beating it off my bedroom door and it was promptly put up. This morning, as if sensing his doom was at hand, he went away and hid. I eventually found him hiding under the blanket draped over the couch to keep their fur off it. Only his head was under. Um...He shrieked when I captured him. hell, he didn't even know he was going in the box.
Once in the box he assumed the position in the back corner and would not come out for anyone. We eventually had to remove the top of the clamshell and get him out (his expression said that was grossly unfair). Doc agrees, it is an allergic reaction, possibly to that crappy clay litter mom gave me (I'm not so sure we've had that awhile since it was a 50 pound bag and it's nearly empty). She gave him an allergy shot. The ear mite infection that wouldn't go away turns out to be a yeast infection so I'm really glad I went. (I almost didn't, his foot is normal sized now). So he has to have yeast meds dropped in every day for several days. his head is a mess of oily meds right now. Once we were done with him he ran into the box and said put the damn shell back on and get me out of here.
Got to finally see the Neil Gaiman Dr. Who. Brilliant stuff. Absolutely loved it.
Called netflix and fessed up. If I ever do find it, I can get my money back. Sigh.
They're widening my road so more than one car can go at a time. Whee. Maybe I'll be able to walk without dying once its done (though I'm doubting they're paving it)
ETA - Soul's day got worse. I just backed over him with the task chair a little. OOPS.
