After a spectacular cock up of a first day I come home and settle in with Ghost Story and DROP the damn book. It slices a four inch bloody gouge in my breast. Sigh. Also I do not like the idea of this story at all. I do not like Harry dead. As a testament to that, in 3 days I've only gotten 30 pages into this.

Soul is making progress, guys. Last night he slept in the living room. He peed in the litter and today he sat on the couch watching me eat like he always used to do. He's in here with me holding onto the carpet like he doesn't trust gravity but he's not hiding. He almost ate in the kitchen.

I'm a bit stunned by what's going on in Libya right now. Gadhafi has been dictator since I've turned 2 years old. let's just hope they grind him completely down.

I did find out what the community chat was about. It's just what I thought. a) assholes throwing their trash all over the place b) kids running everywhere. Mostly this is directed at the two newcomers who just let their kids run wild all over everyone's porches. The one neighbor, the one who failed my plants, has FIVE kids under the age of 8 and does not watching them that closely. She's one of your former clients ELD

I mean MY GOD that wallpaper. It is reproduction but it's an exact copy of what was in there. I think this is what summoned the demons in my story. This is in the George Rapp house. If we paint psych wards pale blue/pink to calm people, what the hell does THIS do to you?

I think the wallpaper is fun?

I finished Ghost Story today and still enjoyed it. I didn't keep it to write a review, though. I still thought it was a good book. The ending didn't really surprise me; but the denouement did.

Mmm, tomatoes.

Yes, the old ranch house had its share of this stuff. The fully restored hacienda "as it was when it was built," which, Sean Patrick was sad to see, the original wallpaper...
