I live for nights like this
Aug. 29th, 2011 09:52 pm50's are great sleeping weather. I have all the windows open and luckily the 18 wheelers seemed to have changed their times. I was able to leave them open (which doesn't happen often). I DO need to get in there with a mask and bleach-containing cleaner because there is some scary ass mildew in those unopened windows.
I just wish I had slept last night. My shoulder pain did wake me up in the middle of the night and sleep gave me the finger. Sigh. And it did NOT help that I had to go to the bathroom at 4 AM. If I hadn't gotten my PJ's in a bunch I would have been at the sink just as a freaking big spider repelled off the ceiling all 8 legs a wiggling. The apt complex is SO lucky not to hear bloodcurdling screams in the middle of the night. Had I been UNDER that spider 911 would have been called by someone.
thanks to those who commented about my nano dilemma. I get that most of you want me to do the living goddess thing. I guess what it boils down to is I will do both stories eventually but if I sell both of the other demon hunter stories to DSP, I think it would be very short sighted of me NOT to do a novel and hit while the iron is hot. If they aren't that interested then it doesn't really matter I guess.
I know some of my flist has an interest in m/m writing. Here are the 2012 open calls for Dreamspinner Press Honestly? I'm not that taken with any of them (I am working on the vacation on for this year). Having limits of no paranormal or contemporary settings doesn't do it much for me. In many ways this is a good thing. That means I WILL have no huge distractions from the novel writing. The time travel one might be interesting but other than that...not sure why the superhero one isn't quite doing it for me. Hmmm
I'm quite sure my stomach lining has dissolved. I had a choice take a migraine pill and have heartburn or die from a migraine. I think I regret not dying from the migraine.

and it's taken at a weird angle. Whee. Actually what I wanted to show was the bible box. I've never seen such a thing but there it is. It's...something
