My good deed for the day
Dec. 6th, 2011 11:20 pm1. not murdering a bunch of nursing students
2. allowing one student some extra time
3. taking a bag of crap I don't even know why I wanted it out of the pantry to give to those who need food for the holidays (and the library who collects it gave me a canvas library bag). And just HOW did I have a box of shredded wheat in there so long that it had a get a star trek shirt from the movie promo going on....
I did treat myself to Mexican tonight.
And spent the rest of the night doing a final exam (which I'm still working on)
That and making pasta in vodka marscapone cheese sauce for the holiday potluck tomorrow (I nearly forgot tomorrow WAS Wed,) since it was the easiest thing to do until I realized I over vodka-ed the sauce. Mom, think sugar will take the bitter out. Yes but just al ittle. I put some in and it helped then thought any more and the sauce will be too sweet. Hmmm we use salt to take the bitter out of eggplant, put a little of that in, sauce is now happy. Hope the campanelle reheat well tomorrow. they went from al dente to dangerously near done in a matter of a few seconds on me...
