It was too damn warm. It always was in the East. Nothing much had changed since he left. It had felt wrong being back home in his parents’ store. It wasn’t just that he was in this damn chair, that he could feel nothing from the waist down; being back home with his mom caring for him made Jean feel like he had accomplished nothing, like he was still a child.

Jean knew it wasn’t true, but he couldn’t escape the feeling. It was all coming to an end soon and he couldn’t wait, though that made him feel bad. It wasn’t as if he didn’t love his family and it was good to at least have someone to help him through this hell, but it was time to move on. His fingers itched to have a cigarette between them. He could taste the acrid tobacco if he just imagined hard enough, but Rosalyn would have his guts for garters if he lit up.

She was a complete terrorist, following him to the East to help pack up what he’d need to go back to Central to continue his therapy. Mustang always said alchemy wasn’t magic even if it did seem that way to Jean’s eyes. Marcoh’s magic stone had repaired the damage to his spine, but there was so much work to be done. There was no magic ending for him. He’d have to work for it. His feeling was only beginning to return. He still couldn’t quite get a boner for Rosalyn no matter how much he wanted it. Her goal was to get him walking again. Jean’s goal was more complete than that. He was going to be a whole man again. With her help and his friends pushing him, it was going to happen. Jean couldn’t wait.

I'm glad you liked it. Yes Rosalyn is based off every PT I've ever had. It does stand for personal torturer right?

I think it's the cigarette ban that upsets Havoc the most (and perfect icon for this)
