Kanda is PISSED

I brought Soul home today and Kanda has spent the entire day under the futon in an outright killer sulk. If he could wish me dead, I'd be toes to the sky right now. I told mom that Kanda didn't miss Soul. No one missed Soul.

And NO ONE knows what's wrong with him. THe vet kept his litter for me. No diarrhea, no blood. WTF? SHe has no clue. THe bloody stool i gave her was sterile. There is absolutely no reason for this. He has no parasites or any reason at all for this.

Mori the cat came and sat with me while I waited for the vet. She's lost a lot of weight. I commented on it only to learn she has liver failure and is dying. Sigh. We did talk about the vet keeping Soul but she doesn't think he'd adjust to life in the vet office and i don't either. I don't know what to do with him. I just can't keep a cat who spends 6 months peeing/pooping on my floor the moment it gets hot, can i?

Thanks to ELD and my friend from my Athens area Nano group for saving my author's chat. It would have been awful otherwise (though one poor guy kept trying to talk to me and goodreads didn't send me his comments). What can you expect on a summer saturday afternoon? It's sort of a waste. I doubt I'll see a single sell but the two people I didn't know are getting free copies. Still, it was a lonely feeling hanging out there all alone.
