I just love it when my computer does stuff and I don't know how or why. I was looking for a file for ELD so I ran a search. Found one that might be her Word Perfect file so I bring it up from the search and oddly it brings it up as a tiny page sort of like page preview but with no way of maximizing it and with no way of reading the tiny print. I don't think much of it until I go back to work on Ragna's birthday story. Now ALL my Word Perfect files are coming up like this and nothing will fix them.
So I hit the WP help file and get the tech support phone #. Of course they're not 24 hours. I go back to WP to see if I can puzzle this out. Now it's changed even MORE. Now all around that tiny page is grey and there's a tool bar up one side and a tool bar below it that has red knobs making it look like a battery. WTF? I didn't even DO anything besides hit help. I turn it off. I go piddle about with other stuff because it's now midnight and I'm mad.
At 6 AM I wake up giggling (every day of these narcotics, I wake up giggling. whee for brain chemistry change) and then think hey go hit systems restore. I did. It's all fine now. DOn't know what's wrong. Don't care. Just don't tell me I'm taking life off my computer every time this piece of crap forces me to go for systems restore.
So Ragna, if your story's late you now know why. And on another note, Musical Hertiage finally has something I want to buy. Lately, my beloved Society has been only doing write ups on cd sets of 3 + cds which means I can't afford them. Now this one is a bit pricey for a single cd but I really want it. The 5 Browns, all five siblings are in Juiliard and all play piano. It's unheard of to have so much musical talent at this caliber in one family. And it's piano music (I'm a sucker for piano and violin).

On the other hand, I had one of YOUR stress dreams the day before yesterday that was so weird, I can't even begin to describe it except at the end, when I was trying to walk along one of those moving sidewalks and my shoes were sliding and I couldn't get purchase to walk.
