What a sad day

My heart goes out to all the families destroyed in Conn today. How sick do you have to be to shoot up a school filled with elementary school kids? (and please if you have a political/2nd amendment thing you feel you want to add in the comments please don't. Save it for your own blog, thanks). Many psychologists say taking a news break is very good for your mental and I am doing that (at least from Twitter and FB, mostly because people are just screaming at each other about the above mentioned no-go's. Even if i might agree with them, this is not healthy for anyone). Not so much head in the sand but more not lingering over the fall out.

And I thought what happened at the post office was going to be my sad for the day until I got home and saw the news (the post mistress's stepdaughter had her boyfriend and her mother over the house yesterday and they both got killed going back to Point Pleasant).

And a happier note, thanks to those who sent me your fandom_stocking. And somehow I lost the first page of stuff I did for my fma_giftexchange. sigh.

And thanks to zippitgood I owe you big time for looking at Machiavelli Moon.

I think I'll just go back out and sit under the stars again tonight and watch more meteors
