Back in hillbilly country

Yeehaw. The drive here was very uneventful. Somehow or other my mother, the master packer, got everything in the car. Hell she got most of it in the trunk. I swear her touch turns things into the TARDIS. I didn't empty the trunk. I had so much in the back seat there wasn't any place to put anything more into my living room.

Kanda has been asleep on the couch since we got here. All the fun drained out of him instantly. Sigh. It smells too. Now that Soul is gone I'm going to invest in the very expensive descenter and a rug doctor steamer to see if I can improve things.

I got back to find a) I forgot to remove the pink breast cancer awareness pumpkin and it exploded into rot all over the porch b) there are mystery leg bones in the grass in front of my house (someone gave lamb bones to the dog? Deer?) c) my neighbors were fighting so loudly thru my wall I considered calling the cops but they shut the hell up (that yellow house in the middle of nowhere is looking better).

I got a ton of tea from various places for christmas (mostly I suspect from TJ Maxx/Marshall/Homegood and one local place that Rain haunts). One of them is honeydew black tea. It takes so much like the fruit it's scary.(and yummy)

So looking forward to TBBT and it's Star Trek Eppy tomorrow.



I forgot to mention that in the inserted Radagast scenes, we get a hint of the spiders that they'll encounter later in the Mirkwood. I did not mention them to mother. She has seen LoTR's so many times but has yet to see Shelob (she watches with closed eyes).

She starts punching me in the movie. You (whack) didn't (whack whack) tell me (whack) there were SPIDERS (punch punch punch).

Watching you house hunt from a distance I'm starting to wish I lived out there! The prices are comparatively so cheap and OMG all that land that comes w/ yellow house!

I would KILL to have something like that!!

On that packing thing, I'm known around here a the Tetris Master. When I pack stuff in a vehicle, I am said to 'Tetris it in there'. I'm highly amused by the nomenclature.
