Something very uncomfortable happened at work yesterday and today

I had allergic reactions to the preserving fluids in my cat dissection. I have no idea WHY but it burned my throat and eyes and made me itch. Even now, grading the exams that they thoughtfully dredged in the fluids, I'm reacting. I've never had this problem. I don't know if it's because we kept these cats for a year but why didn't I react last week? I don't know if I'm so close to a major attack because of the pollen that this was just the final push.

What I DO know is, it'll be a career ender if I'm allergic. Either I'd have to switch into teaching genetics/microbiology/ecology (I could do the latter two but not the former) but there is no call for them here and I have No experience teaching them, or have to do online anatomy only which would suck. Here's hoping it's a temporary weird thing.

Booksamillion sent my order to a friend's address. Yes I've sent her stuff before and I was going to order for her but now she has to send it all to me. NOT happy.

But what HAS made me happy is I have all the edits back for Kept Tears Now as soon as I get the synopsis ready, I can send it out for consideration. so YAY. I'm very excited.

the autocorrect stuff never fails to make me double over in laughter! I'd seen some of these, but the one that said 'Wawa skittletits' nearly had me peeing my pants I was laughing so hard! Thinking about changing my tumblr name to skittletits now XD

All of those articles were very interesting, particularly that Jamestown one. and who knows why your body weirds out on itself. Seriously, you poor thing- sugar skyrockets for no reason, now you can't handle papers doused in a chemical you've be in contact with numerous times.

Allergies suck. Mine too took a sudden leap this year, resulting in sinus infection and antibiotics. But was told just to switch to new anti-allergy drug--would that work for you?

And I love the auto-correct so much! I can't read the whole thing because my stomach hurts from laughing.
