I slept good last night

If it dips into the forties, I sleep so well. It could actually snow tomorrow morning 0_o

We went out to see Iron Man III last night (I liked it very much) and today we went to Grandma's new home. First we went to a new to us Gyro place (it's a Pittsburgh chain, not sure if it extends farther), My Big Fat Greek Gyro, generous sizes. The Adonis serving it up was so good looking even Dad commented on it. Next door was the original McMurray house (McMurray is the town it's in, fairly affluent), and now it's a coffee house, a really nice one with really good coffee. I see more of this in my future.

Grandma's new place is one of the nicest homes I have ever seen and keep in mind I had dozens of these on my patient lists back in the day. Grandma wants me to go have fun in Vegas and keep an eye on Mom (i.e. don't let her gamble, as if my mom ever gambles much). We told her that her friend who is 93 just had gallbladder surgery and is doing well, she responded 'so? she's going to live forever." paused for a moment and added 'so am I.' I believe her.

Borrowed my brother's tablet to go to Vegas with but it's more likely than not you won't be hearing from me after tomorrow. My SiL is so pissed off that my dad isn't watching the cat and that Kanda is in a kennel. He has a nice cage and will get out to run around every day. Kanda is skittish and hides from my dad. It would be hard to handle him if I'm not here. Kanda is better off in the kennel. When I think I finally convinced her my dad didn't refuse to watch Kanda, she was pissed that I was so okay with putting my cat in a pet resort. As for me, I get annoyed by people like that.

Here's hoping for writing time on the plane...

If anyone wants one of these eggs, let me know because I'm jettisoning some of them.

I know I kept telling SiL that I used to board him for weeks. He'll be fine. I'm getting tired of the people who act like you're killing your pet if you don't take them everywhere with you. This is what kennels are for.
