I obviously irritated the computer gods
Feb. 16th, 2005 09:32 amYesterday it was the printer. Today, I log on to find a folder is gone from my bookmarks. There went every Buffy related bookmark I have. Now explain to me how it could be there when I turn off the computer and gone when I turn it back on with no one doing the two steps it takes to delete anything? I have no idea how to get it back because systems restore isn't supposed to mess with the bookmarks. It's possible that the folder got merged with another. (I've had that happen in the word processing program, this is also a multi-step procedure that the computer apparantly does on it's own when no one's looking because assuredly we would recall jumping through those hoops.)
Sob.
ETA - I did find them. It mergered that folder with my music links. Again, this Hell decided to do this on it's own with no input from me. I mean that would require either clicking and dragging and/or using the merge function which I did not do.
