what next?

cornerofmadnessI've only been home 4 days and there have been more disasters than in the 6 weeks I was gone. Today the A/C went out. It was so hot when I got home all the soaps/shampoos/lotions had liquefied, my twizzlers and chocolate melted. I'm lucky Kanda didn't have heat stroke. At first, when I woke up sweating I thought not that much of it especially since it's very hot out and the humidity is defying the laws of nature it's so high. I had a LONG day (it's a 6 hour lab with 2 hours prep time). I come home to this oven. I turn down the a/c thinking maybe I set it up to high to save energy. I cook and it gets 6 degrees hotter. I jack it down to meat locker and nothing.
I march up to the landlord. 'My a/c is out.' I must have looked like I'd be dining on landlord if he didn't respond immediately. Within a half hour it's fixed, the compressor went out. I'm now cooler and he gets to live. He also gave me 2 home grown cucumbers. I'm not sure why.
And last night sucked since it looked like my OTHER loan doubled in price and Honda said I didn't pay them. I was almost over the edge at this point. The sallie mae loan had TWO loans showing which scared and confused me. TUrns out they're showing each year's loan separately now (thanks for the warning) and since I was late (spinning around trying to figure out what to do because of that other loan). I just owed my usually.
Honda on the other hand is still baffling me. Apparently I checked pay principle only and not standard payment. No offense, but so the fuck what? If I was paying interest only I could see it. I only have TWO payments left, this month and next. Why are you fucking with me? Here's what I do get what didn't they say so? I AM threw my 6 weeks of mail, no notice there, no email. And they cashed my e=check but didn't apply it anywhere. Once I pointed that out, he fell over himself to apply the money and remove the late fee. What were they going to do with that money? go have a party? Am not amused but at least it's fixed.
I want to go back to PA
The good news is I got my advance. I'm gonna need it.
