Here she comes. Mom is pretty sure she'll be here in a few weeks. Time to start seeing if I can find the floors in the house. God I hate cleaning.

Glad I went to the Klondike Days yesterday. Today is gross grey and snowy

Planning on contacting an orthopedic surgeon if my insurance will cover it. I'm beginning to fear I damaged the talar dome of my rear foot in that fall (i.e. the bone of the foot the leg bones articulate with to make the ankle). I think I might need a MRI.

I know I've said this before but it bears repeating. Dear Colleges, just because I'm a biologist doesn't mean I know SQUAT about math. Most scientists who hate math become biologists. If we liked it, we would be chemists or physicists. If we didn't avoid taking biostatistics chances are we did poorly. Please quit thinking you're getting a two-fer-one and realize that most biologists do NOT want to teach math. Thank you. (i.e. Dana was looking over all the exciting job openings again today).

At least the house smells good today. I'm making spaghetti sauce from half scratch since I'm snowed in. It smells like a trattoria in here.

Waning on the ATS/BTVS front, as It's not being produced anymore I suppose, biggest geeky thing these days is Marvel comics, and after reading the five HP books in a week, I've developed an interest of obsessional proportions in it, it was like brainwashing or something.

I wasn't a good actress either. My teachers were completely unsupportive of me. I was never cast in a show - ended up working stage crew for most of the productions despite being an acting major.

ouch. sorry to hear that. I was stage crew too most of the time. I blew out both knees in Pippin in my freshman year (never could sing so that meant at least one show a year I knew I'd never get cast in). I was just there for fun. I can't imagine how it would hurt for it to have been a major.

Yeah, high school wasn't much fun. I wasn't in the theatre clique, and they were the ones who were always in every show. I started acting to try to overcome my shyness, but it only had the reverse effect - made me more self-conscious. At least I was still involved in the productions.
