cornerofmadnessIt's good day. Landlord evicted the morons I share a wall with. She's screaming at him how unfair it is. All she wants is to be left alone and no one will leave her alone. That's how she got kicked out of the last place. Lady, if this is your SECOND eviction, it's you, not the neighbors. She also said threatening them with the bow and arrow was 'nothing, it was just her son's toy.' It was this that had me almost calling 911 this week. She came into a conversation I was having with another neighbor and assumed it was about her. She was going seriously off the rails but went in her house so I let it drop (since there are very few apts here and she would know who called in the cops. She and her husband do nothing but scream and pound the walls. I feel sorry for the kids. Also I think he evicted the other neighbor involved in the incident (and potentially a third). I'm tempted to find out how long he's given them to get out of here because I'm half sure a neighbor and/or landlord will be attacked by the end of all of this. Wonders if I can live in my office for the next few weeks.
Those manufactured homes in the woods are looking better and better.
Otherwise it was a pissy kind of day. We found out the nursing students were ordering the math/science students out of "their" lounge. It's actually NOT theirs. It's the math/science students (theirs is one floor below). We complained. The dean said we had to let them use it so the professors who has stocked it with microwaves fridges etc all took them back today. Now it's an empty room. if they had asked we would have shared. Acting like imperious little bitches (which nursing students are known for and not just at this college, it's a rather universal reputation sadly even though most nurses I know personally aren't like this, well if they were, they wouldn't be my friend so...) I'm going to suggest if this happens again it goes back to being a classroom
Funny for the day - Mom, did you see Star Trek: Into the Darkness came out this week.
Mom - bought it today!
Me - So not a Christmas gift for you?
Mom - How could I wait til Christmas?

Date: 2013-09-13 02:10 am (UTC)Glad to hear that the crazy neighbors got evicted. Hope they're out soon. I'm very lucky that I never hear either of my neighbors (except for the dogs occasionally). In fact my newest neighbors are a really nice young couple with a cute (and very energetic) little boy. I've talked to them, especially the wife, Kelly, more than any neighbor I've had for 15 years probably.
