That's a load off my back.
Nov. 19th, 2013 05:32 amMy novel is back to the editor AND I sent in my steampunk novella. Read more about all that here I'm rather proud of myself and thank you to
evil_little_dog on her help with both of them as well as
wildrider,
havocmangawip and
mamculuna for their help as well.
Balancing this is my students inability to answer even the simplest of questions (what is the name of fracture that goes thru the skin) then blame me for killing their dreams.
And tonight after getting out of the tub, getting a scare. Almost my entire plantar arch on my left foot decided it didn't want skin.

It is worse than the blurry picture looks. All that white you see in the arch going from ball of the foot to heel is dead. The skin under it is fine (this is part of the dishydrotic eczema) but with diabetes it could be anything. I have no idea what caused it. I usually get like this when it's hot (okay it did warm back up to the 60's but sheesh). The skin under it is tender as hell though. Whimpers. I don't need to be on my feet all day tomorrow. (Yeesh look at all those varicose veins around my ankle. my body is just breaking down around me)
No declutter or anything today since I spent the night either staring at my computer barely writing or grading exams and getting that novella out the door. Still, all things considered, I'm happy. It's been too long since I've had something published. A YEAR. That's terrible.
