I'm a little speechless

cornerofmadnessI'm holding my first paperback novel in my hand. 
The one nice thing in an otherwise blah day that nearly began with me trapped in ice. All the snow that melted, made mud. My car sank then froze. It took 20 minutes, cat litter (now sprayed all over the apt) and 20,000 miles off my tires to smoke my way out of there.
I'll be having a facebook chat for my novel this saturday 4-7 pm est. find it here and my story and ALL urban fantasies will be 25% off on Dreamspinner's web site (and yes sadly they have to ask you your age because selling to the under aged is illegal and they would totally never lie when asked this question...)
I want to make this acorn necklace since a) gaelsong is over priced. I have looked at shipwrecked, fire mountain and oriental trading co. Anyone know any other good bead places I can check. i have found some but I'm just looking for options.

I love that necklace, too. Back in the 80's, I had a lot of leaf pins and necklaces. No idea what happened to them all.

A quick unfiltered search for "acorn beads" brought up some interesting things, & you could probably find the oak leaves as well. Our last powwow drum was "Oakleaf Singers", & I always coveted that necklace myself. We lived on "Oakleaf Court" when we got married - actually got married in that house - so it's been a significant symbol to me for many years now (plus, it's just a gorgeous necklace.) Best of luck with both necklace and book!!!!
