Weird? Today at work, they're yelling at me and my boss for not telling them i wasn't going to be here next semester and they structured it like I was. I'm thinking YOUR the ones telling me there's no work to begin with.

On the way back from work, I see someone's harlequin Great Dane on the loose. That's not weird. What was weird was he was hauling a car-struck dead deer up the road, presumably about to have himself a snack.

And thanks to bashipforever for sending me this link. For those of you who didn't see it at the Connor/VK sites, VK is doing a broadway show. It's about teen prostitutes (there's a surprise, Vk playing a damaged young man) called Slag Heap. One of my friend's wife works for broadway.com and she might get to go for free. I'm jealous, yes I am.

And not to imply that my first three fanfic authors were better in any way than the rest of my recc's by making them single entries but if I don't start doubling up I'll never get through them all so I bring you:

leni_ba Leni writes wonderful B/A stuff, usually a bit on the angsty side. She does some great B/Angelus too and writes a delightfully wicked Angelus just like I like him. Dare I mention the fun Spike/Dawn as well. And better yet, the way she works the English language, which is not her native tongue. Check out her site Kittens in the Dark

masqthephlsphr does less writing of fan fic than she does of wonderful thought provoking essays about both shows that you can find here at All Things Philosophical and can find your way from there to a virtual S6 of Angel that she's participating in. The fan fic she does do is wonderful, especially if you enjoy Connor (and Faith, not necessarily together at this juncture). She has a virtual S6 following the exploits of Connor, Faith and an original character Aiden Walsh (as well as many many guest spots by people). I can't tell you how much I'm enjoying her Post Origins/NFA take on Connor. You just want to comfort the lad. Check it out at The Destroyer
